What is Adventure Systems, LLC?

Adventure Systems is a Limited Liability Corporation established in 2010 by Campground Owners of New York (CONY) of Pittsford, NY and Corporate Communications, Inc. of Rochester, NY to offer an On-Line Reservation System/Destination Site Management tool for Campground and RV Park owners and other interested businesses. It is a web-based, self-service tool giving users round-the-clock access from any computer to set any parameters for reservations they wish, with changes effective immediately.


Are there costs to set up and maintain an account with Adventure Systems, LLC?

For members-in-good-standing of partner organizations, the standard set-up fee is $225, with no annual fee thereafter (with continuance of membership at time of annual renewal). For all other campgrounds, the standard set up fee is $495, with an annual fee thereafter of $180 per annum. Three hours of support is included in the set-up fee, to be used within 60 days of executed signed contract. The annual support (after set-up) with renewal includes up to two hours per annum.

The set-up fee and set-up service does not include population of content for your reservation page. Population of content service is available for up to a 200 site campground for a fee of $500. Additional Support (Setup or ongoing basis: 1-Hour package: $90; 2-Hour package: $150; 5-Hour package: $350.


Is there a cost to accept reservations through Adventure Systems, LLC?

There is no direct cost to the campground for a reservation. However, the campground will incur the typical credit card processing fees applied to online reservations, while the customer will incur a reservation fee that is calculated into the total cost of the reservation, and is paid directly to Adventure Systems, LLC.


How do I create an account with Adventure Systems, LLC?

To create a reservation account with Adventure Systems, LLC, contact Adventure Systems, LLC (operating out of Campground Owners of New York) at 800-467-2669 for an application portfolio. Once your application has been processed, a login name and password will be assigned to your account and provided to you to begin setting parameters for reservations at your business. Or simply begin the process by filling out this form.


How do I get technical support for my account with Adventure Systems, LLC?

Office hours are 9:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, except holidays. Telephone calls, faxes or emails received during off hours or when the office is not otherwise occupied will be returned at the first possible opportunity.


How do I access my account with Adventure Systems, LLC?

On the homepage, http://www.adventuresystems.net, enter your email address (login) and password provided to you in the letter that accompanied your manual. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be at your main menu screen and can begin editing your reservation system.


What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, click the "Forgot Your Password?" link directly below the login button, and enter your email address. A new password will be emailed to you.


Can I designate other users to manage my account?

If you rely on a staff person to manage your reservations, or a third-party to manage your internet activities, you can designate them to have access to your account. Contact Adventure Systems, LLC (operating out of Campground Owners of New York) at 800-497-2669 if you would like to have additional user accounts. Please note that you have the option to give the user(s) you designate full or limited access to your account (for instance, if you don't want your website provider or designer to have access to your transactions or site management, you may limit their access to design coding only). A "User Account Request" form has additional details on designating additional user access.


Can I manage more than one account?

Yes. Adventure Systems, LLC has designed the admin function to accommodate businesses (such as website host companies or independent web designers/webmasters) that may have multiple clients needing assistance maintaining their account with Adventure Systems, LLC. If you have more than one business for which you are granted user access, you can manage them all. The “Select Campground” option is where you would select the park you wish to work on. Only those campgrounds for which you have designated access will appear in the menu. You will be taken back to the main menu screen for that campground. The scope of your user access to each campground reservation system will be determined by the client that registers the account with Adventure Systems, LLC.


How do I format the reservation page into my own website?

Adventure Systems, LLC has designed the admin function to assist campgrounds in seamlessly integrating the "look" of their reservation page into the creative design of their own websites. Unless a business owner is experienced in creating and placing "HTML" code into their websites, it is suggested that this process be handled by their web designer or webmaster, or a technical representative from Adventure Systems, LLC (See FAQ about costs for technical support). In the "Manage Campground” menu, select "Get Code." A screen will appear with default code that can be placed in the website of the campground, to create the generic reservation page. Dropdown menus on the "Get Code" page will allow for customizing colors and fonts in order to match the look of the reservation page with the campground website. How and when are payments for reservations made to my business?

Adventure Systems, LLC (operated out of Campground Owners of New York) manages payments to registered campgrounds, for reservations made through Adventure Systems, LLC, after deducting reservation fees added to the cost of the reservation and assessed to the customer; after deducting applicable credit card processing fees normally assessed by credit card processing companies; and after deducting any reservation cancellation fees or refunds that may apply. Checks for the payments due to registered account holders with Adventure Systems, LLC will be mailed by the 15th of each month for the reservation transactions processed in the preceding month (for example, August transactions will be settled and a check cut and mailed by September 15th). If the 15th falls on a weekend day or holiday, the checks will be in the mail by the next business day following the weekend day or holiday. If you would like to sign up for Direct Deposit (ACH) payments will be made weekly for reservations made the previous week.


How do I review transactions?

Transactions for reservations and cancellations are accessible by logging into www.adventuresystems.net, clicking "Manage Campground" and clicking "Transactions." Transactions can be sorted by date range, and a cumulative tally of payments, refunds and balances is also provided.


What if I have more than one campground or RV park?

If you have more than one campground for which you are using the reservation system, you can manage them all. The "Select Campground" option is where you would select the park you wish to work on. The screen will show a rendering of New York State. Select the region in which the desired campground is located and select your campground from the drop-down box that will appear on the next screen. You will be taken back to the main menu screen for that campground.


Is there a cost for technical support?
